What is Spectre Search?
Spectre Search is AI market intelligence for crypto and stocks, made by Spectre AI. Ask a market question in plain English and get a direct answer with a chart and the evidence behind it: market data, Spectre's published research, news, posts on X and on-chain observations. Every figure shows its source and when it was captured.
What you can ask
Type a coin, a stock, a contract address or a full question. Some examples, each of which opens a live answer:
- Why is bitcoin moving today?
- Compare SOL and ETH
- NVDA stock price
- When is the next Fed meeting?
- ETH memecoins under 10m
- Bitcoin ETF flows
- What are whales buying?
- Who is the team behind Spectre AI?
Results open as a quick Overview. Expanded adds financials, on-chain evidence, media and source details without running another search.
Markets and data it covers
- Crypto: prices and charts across seven periods (candlesticks where price history allows), market cap, volume, project profiles and official links, and contract addresses on EVM chains and Solana.
- Stocks: quotes and charts, reporting calendar, company metrics, analyst estimates and insider filings.
- Macro and the economic calendar: releases with actual, forecast and previous values in UTC, Federal Reserve (FOMC) meeting dates and macro indicators.
- Tokenized assets: tokenized treasuries and money-market funds, gold and company shares, ranked by on-chain value. A tokenized share shows its own on-chain value next to the listed share price.
- On-chain data: contract identity, liquidity, holder distribution, whale flows and security observations where they are indexed.
- Derivatives and flows: funding rates, open interest, liquidations, spot ETF flows and BTC dominance.
- X and social sentiment: official project posts kept apart from community discussion, and a mood read that compares proven callers with the crowd.
- Spectre Intelligence: research, briefs and original reports published by Spectre AI, with publication dates and cited sources.
- News and video: publisher reporting with links to the original articles, and videos from indexed YouTube channels.
How answers are sourced
Spectre Search retrieves Spectre data: market data, research published by Spectre, indexed news and X posts, and on-chain observations. It does not run a general web search.
The headline answer and its short read are built from those numbers by rules. For a natural-language question, a language model also writes a short answer from the same retrieved data. If that step fails, the rules answer shows. A bare ticker, a contract address or a one-word coin name stays rules-only.
Every result has a Data and sources panel with quotes, freshness and attribution. Research keeps its publication date and its cited sources, and news links to the original article.
Missing data is shown as unavailable, never replaced with invented numbers. Market prices may be delayed.
Frequently asked questions
What is Spectre Search?
Spectre Search is AI market intelligence for crypto and stocks, made by Spectre AI. You ask a market question in plain English and get a direct answer with a chart and the evidence behind it: market data, Spectre's published research, news, posts on X and on-chain observations, each with its source and time.
What can I ask Spectre Search?
Ask about a coin or a stock: its price, its chart and why it is moving. Compare assets, check the next Fed meeting or this week's economic calendar, screen for tokens such as ETH memecoins under 10m, or look at market-wide data such as sentiment, top movers, liquidations, funding rates, ETF flows and whale activity. You can also paste a contract address on an EVM chain or Solana.
Which markets does Spectre Search cover?
Crypto, stocks, macro and the economic calendar, and tokenized assets such as tokenized treasuries, gold and company shares. Answers can also include on-chain data, X and social sentiment, and research from Spectre Intelligence.
Where do the answers come from?
From Spectre data: market data, research published by Spectre, indexed news and X posts, and on-chain observations. Spectre Search does not run a general web search. The headline answer is built from the numbers by rules, and for a natural-language question a language model writes a short answer from the same retrieved data. Every answer lists its sources, and missing data is shown as unavailable, never invented.
Is Spectre Search free?
Yes. You can use Spectre Search without an account or payment, within a daily allowance of free questions per person. Opening a question you already asked that day again does not count. If you connect your own AI through OpenRouter, that model runs on your own OpenRouter credits.
Does Spectre Search give financial advice?
No. Spectre Search provides market information and research for context and education. It is not financial, investment or trading advice. Market prices may be delayed, so check the sources and dates and make your own decisions.
How does Spectre Search relate to the Spectre AI app?
Spectre Search is the public search engine of Spectre AI. It reads the same Spectre data and published research as the Spectre AI app at app.spectreai.io, where you can go deeper with research tools and Monarch, Spectre's AI assistant. Answers include a Continue in Monarch link that carries your question into the app.
